General Calling Hits
Airsoft is a game based on the honor system
Not playing honorably is a problem
-
If you’re hit, say “hit,” put your hands up, and red rag on if you have one
-
Friendly fire DOES count
-
Ricochets DO NOT count.
-
Must be a direct impact
-
DO NOT call other people’s hits (call over a ref if you think someone is cheating)
Overshooting
-
If you see someone with their hands up, a red rag on their head, or hear them call hit, they are out.
-
If you are dead and walking, avoid crossfire if you don’t want to get hit
-
Understand you may be hit if you are walking
-
-
We require a trigger guard, and your hand must remain fully on the grip as you are firing
(This is to avoid over-shooting)
Safety Kills
-
If closer than 5 feet from the barrel of your gun you MUST safety kill (not an option)
-
Only the words 'Safety' or 'Safety kill' will count (Not Bang-Bang, surrender, or anything else)
-
If there is a controversy, both call out
-
To safety kill, you must have your gun raised and be able to aim at the target (aka, not through walls, no “blind firing” safety kills)
-
Knife and Nerf kills are legal and are supplements for safety kills (no blind firing)
-
Do not throw knives or any other objects
Respawns
-
If you get hit during a game with respawns, follow standard hit procedure and return to the wall you started on
-
Stay on respawn until you hear “respawn”
-
If you are not already back at the wall when you hear “respawn” you are NOT back in, continue to the wall and wait until the next spawn
-
DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES
-
If you run out of ammo on the field you may leave the field and reload, then enter again AT YOUR SPAWN and wait until the next respawn to continue playing.
-
If the game is a no-respawn game, wait until the next game.
POST GAME
-
"Cease Fire" means that all shooting is to stop
-
Barrel socks on, magazines out
-
Face protection MUST remain on
-
Walk to the nearest exit
Destruction

-
